Program Description

This 2.5-hour live webinar, “Advanced Hair Transplant Revision Surgery: Principles, Strategies, and Complex Case Management”, is planned to help review concepts on surgery indications, a deep understanding of the donor area as a limited resource and its optimal manipulation, and surgical strategies for an efficient planning of the recipient area. Special emphasis will be placed on a better knowledge and approach to Repair and Complex Cases.

Professional Practice Gap

Hair restoration as a specialty is constantly growing, and an increasing number of medical professionals are entering the field.

Many beginners are facing routine cases of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and performing their first surgeries, but they also encounter patients who have undergone previous procedures—often with suboptimal results. Managing these complex cases requires not only the development of surgical skills but also a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise.

By learning from colleagues and their experiences, the learning curve can be approached more effectively and with greater responsibility.

Educational Need

This webinar aims to educate participants on:

  1. The fundamentals of advanced surgical planning
  1. Management of the donor area, including the importance of avoiding depletion and preserving homogeneity
  1. Surgical strategies for approaching both primary and repair cases

Understanding these concepts will help participants approach daily practice with the necessary tools to provide patients with the most effective strategies and optimal outcomes.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize appropriate surgical indications for each patient
  1. Evaluate the donor area in depth, estimate donor capacity, and minimize donor site scarring
  1. Develop a thoughtful surgical strategy
  1. Apply problem-solving approaches to complex cases
  1. Manage challenging revision patients

Assessment Methodology

Live Q&A Sessions: Encourage interaction and clarify key concepts.
Participant Feedback Form: Evaluate the relevance, quality, and applicability of the program.

Target Audience and Prerequisites

This webinar is taught at the physician level. It is open to all levels and geared toward advanced hair restoration surgeons.
